In order to change to another motoring school, a student must inform their previous motoring school that they would like to change to another motoring school, and then inform the new motoring school that they would like to switch to them. The new motoring school will charge a fee of €50 to do the office work required for the switch.
We believe that every student has their own abilities and therefore takes their own time to be fully ready. On average, a student takes 250 hours to be ready for the test however, that does not necessarily mean that it will be the same case for every student, and students are encouraged to understand this, because it is a completely normal thing. Not everybody is the same.
A mock test is like a simulation of the actual practical test. They are generally meant to help give students an idea of what the actual test will be like.
The practical test takes around 35 to 45 minutes.
Lesson fees for Manual start from €18 for 1 hour and €27 for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Lesson fees for Automatic start from €18.50 for 1 hour and €28 for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Please note that fees will apply if a student does not cancel their appointment 4 hours before the lesson.
Upon receiving their student permit, a student will be permitted to learn how to drive for 3 years.
You will be required to pay for the student permit application as well as the student insurance cover, which both total to €95. When you are ready for the test, you will be required to pay another €95 in order to do the practical test.
On a Saturday, the practical test will cost €120.
